Isaac co-founded Skybrook Capital with David Samuels. At Skybrook, Isaac’s primary activities include interacting with brokers and borrowers to source new debt deals, maintaining and growing Skybrook’s national and international investor base, supervising all aspects of Skybrook’s management division, and overseeing the servicing of ongoing mortgages.
Before co-founding Skybrook, Isaac worked in various roles at Center Street Capital, a boutique commercial real estate firm in Long Island, New York. There, Isaac’s responsibilities ranged from real estate management to sourcing capital for real estate investments. Isaac also spearheaded a bridge lending platform that eventually laid the seeds for Skybrook’s bridge lending program.
Isaac has a BA from Yeshiva University, from where he graduated cum laude. He is also a licensed real estate salesperson. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Isaac now resides with his wife and six children in Long Island, NY.
David co-founded Skybrook Capital with Isaac Fried. At Skybrook, David is responsible for the company’s strategic direction and oversees the company’s investments. David spends most of his time reviewing deals for Skybrook’s lending and acquisition divisions, analyzing and developing real estate financial models, and interacting with brokers and investors.
Prior to co-founding Skybrook, David was a partner at Center Street Capital, a boutique commercial real estate firm in Long Island, New York. There, David and his partners acquired multifamily properties in Brooklyn and the Bronx. David also originated, structured, and oversaw the underwriting, negotiations, due diligence, and sourcing of an excess of $200 million worth of fixed and floating rate loans.
David is an attorney who is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bar and holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from NYU. David is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York. David resides with his wife and five children in Long Island, NY
SEAN IS SKYBROOK’S CONTROLLER. SEAN’S ROLE PRIMARILY CONSISTS OF MANAGING ALL BACK OFFICE ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO SERVICE SKYBROOK’S DEBT PORTFOLIO. THIS INCLUDES PRODUCING AND CIRCULATING MONTHLY MORTGAGE STATEMENTS TO BORROWERS, MONITORING A BORROWER’S MONTHLY MORTGAGE PAYMENTS, CREATING MONTHLY CHECKS FOR DISTRIBUTION TO INVESTORS, AND OVERSEEING THE ACCOUNTING ASPECTS OF LOAN ORIGINATIONS AND PAYOFFS. IN ADDITION, SEAN SPENDS MUCH OF HIS TIME INTERACTING WITH SKYBROOK’S ACCOUNTING FIRM AND VENDORS, AND HE ENSURES THAT ALL OF SKYBROOK’S BOOKS AND RECORDS ARE IN ORDER.
PRIOR TO JOINING SKYBROOK, SEAN WORKED AT E&M – ONE OF THE LARGEST REAL ESTATE OWNERS IN NEW YORK CITY, AMERICAN HERITAGE MANAGEMENT, AND MEDALLION REAL ESTATE. OVER THIS TEN YEAR PERIOD, SEAN PARTICIPATED IN MANY ASPECTS OF REAL ESTATE FINANCE AND RECORD KEEPING. MOST NOTABLY, WHILE AT AMERICAN HERITAGE, SEAN OVERSAW AND MONITORED THE COMPANY’S CASH FLOWS AND FINANCES.
SEAN GRADUATED FROM QUEENS COLLEGE, WITH A DOUBLE MAJOR IN FINANCE AND ECONOMICS. SEAN RESIDES WITH HIS WIFE AND THREE CHILDREN IN LONG ISLAND, NY.
